Lots of hard work : ) accept the fact that you're going to be behind everyone physically for a while, but don't let it stay that way. It's hard to get back in, but you can do it! Plus, 3 months isn't all that long, you should be fine.

Have you decided on some concrete goals for swimming? Think hard about what you want to achieve with your swimming, and then create a plan to start working towards it.

Hi "mazin matt" !

I hope you have done progresses since you've started again swimming.

I agree with sarahbaxter46 when she says that it's far more motivating to go swimming with friends. If one of your friends swims faster and longer than you, it will motivate you to do better performances than them.

Moreover, I can give you some advice. Not too long ago, I was in the same situation as you. I swam in a club during 9 years and I stopped swimming during approximately 2 years. I didn't know how to recover my formerly performances.

What did I do ? I first tried to recover my technique, all my reflexes and of course my ease in the water. It took me approximately 6 months to achieve this. Then, I had set myself goals: first, I tried to swim 1 kilometer, the following week 2 kilometers etc. Moreover, I tried to keep the following average: 1 kilometer per half hour.

Of course, you will also have to do some educationals to recover your technique ^^

That's the advice I can give you ^^ Hope it will be useful to you ^^

Ohh i've nearly forgotten to ask you : in which club did you swim and in which country ?
