Dear swimmer

This year, the Senior Games will be organized in September 2009 in the Dutch province Zeeland, and an estimated 3.000 athletes 50 years and older from all over Europe are expected to join.
Participants will compete during this Multi-sport Event in no less than 21 major sports. This event is the first of its kind in Europe, a unique opportunity for the Netherlands.

Swimming is one of the main sports in the Senior Games 2009 program. Beneath one can find the specific information concerning the swimming competition.

Program

Participation
Registration is open to all swimmers who are able to attain the minimum performance standards.

Match parts
Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, medley.
Swedish Relay: Swedish Relay games will be held for teams of which all members belong to the same sports organization. Registration for the Swedish Relay will only be possible during the tournament. All items are indoor; bath of 25 meters.

Conditions
For the Senior Games championship Swimming are the rules of the LEN of determination.
