Date: April 04, 2005 01:38AM yeah i have them which nose piece do you use? if you use the string and rubber, all you do is slide the rubber thing over the string and tie the string so that the goggles stay firmly on the bridge of your nose....if you use the little rubber strip, then you just slide the rubber strip into the holes on the sides of the gaskets and pull to tighten them. hope that helps ![]() aRieL* Re: speedo speed socket goggles

Date: April 05, 2005 01:30PM no.. rocket sockets are by tyr and speed sockets aren't like sweedish goggles.. if that makes any sense .. you can go to this site if u want to see the speed sockets! http://www.kiefer.com/Kiefer/productr.asp?pf%5Fid=7500034&gift=False&0=dept%2Easp%2Cdept%5Fid%3D88%26Tree%3D%2CCompetitive%20Swim&1=dept%2Easp%2Cdept%5Fid%3D3%26menu%5Fid%3D%26Tree%3D0%2CGoggles&2=dept%2Easp%2Cdept%5Fid%3D21%26menu%5Fid%3D%26Tree%3D1%2CSpeedo%20Goggles&HSLB=False&mscssid=0553DF9B7D19E4CE585B2B1BC6CA2668 Re: speedo speed socket goggles

Date: April 07, 2005 01:07AM they're not complicated at all! they look it though lol but all you have to do is pop on and off the nose piece theres a little thingy it clicks into in the back.No matter how hard you practice...someone is practicing harder,No matter how good you are... someone is better...BE THAT SOMEONE Re: speedo speed socket goggles

Date: April 07, 2005 01:52AM i didnt think that the speed sockets had that type of snap on nose piece because they never say they come with adjustable nose pieces ... so i dunno.. i am tryin to find goggles w/o snap on nose pieces because i have had 2 pairs of speedo vanquishers where the thing that holds the nose piece has broken off thank u tho!Re: speedo speed socket goggles

Date: July 04, 2011 11:49AM But the nose piece is not made of silicone and is easily broken after a certain period of time. Mine's broken even after replacing all the included ones that comes with it. It's difficult to find the new replacement nose pieces for Speedo in the market. So It's useless now even though other parts are still working well ![]() Re: speedo speed socket goggles

Date: August 05, 2011 11:30PM I use speedsockets religiously, they are the was to go. they pre much never fall of or leak. The only problem I've found is after a while the goggles get a little bit harder to see through and the straps can start to rip if you wear them tight.
