does anyone know the lyrics to the "12 days of Christmas swimming" song?
i remember it from when i was younger but can't recall all the lyrics..
maybe it was just something our group had made up i'm not sure..
but if anyone knows the lyrics that'd be great!

umm IM is individual medley..
fly, back, breast, free in equal increments..
i.e. a 100 IM is a 25 of every stroke
200 IM, 50's
400 IM, 100's

Lots of hard work : ) accept the fact that you're going to be behind everyone physically for a while, but don't let it stay that way. It's hard to get back in, but you can do it! Plus, 3 months isn't all that long, you should be fine.

30T or 60T it's just a 30 or 60 minute swim where you keep track of how many laps you do and it's a competition to do the most..it's insainly borring!

one a lot of my friends and i use for away messages while we're at practice is "busy singing songs in my head on the long sets and yelling at my lungs to shut up on the sprints..bbl" or just "AWAY: talking to myself and singing songs in my head to the beat of the water" things like that amuse us : )

I'm fishyfeetz, then also on my team there's a water cow, nucleator, and pink duct tape princess (a guy..) and boots...we have a lot of inside jokes, but it's kind of weird to explain to other people :p

I think he means taht to balance in the water you should be completely aligning your body from feet to chin in a straight line...your head shouldn't be too faar up or down, then to counter act all the excess weight of your lower body you should be pressing your sternum through your chin towards to botom of the pool (leaning on your chin) kind of like you're going down a sled hill face first, you

back to breast flips aren't legal for our high school swimming, but i do them for summer and club meets...but i'm mainly a 400imer not 200 so that rules out hs anyways... i just do the regular back to breast flip though...can someone explain the "spin turn"? thanks

katie hoff, dara torres (she's amazing!), and margo geer, but you probably don't know who she is...she's 16 she won 100 free at nationals and is on the junior olympic team and she want to trials and was the best 16 & under in two of her 3 events...ithink... but she's amazing!

i swim (obviously) then i do tae-kwon-do and i used to run corss country and do gymnastics, but swimming and tkd became too intence for me to continue with the others so now i swim 6 days a week and to tkd 3 (i skip one day of dry land so i can get to tkd and leave 20 min early another day) then i run by myself whenever i can and i tumble occassionally with some other tkd people... it's really hec

we lift 3 days a week and do cardio/other stuff 3 days a week, one day off.. forlifting we do upper body one day and lower body one day then lighter higher reps of both on the third day, also, for two days of the cardio/other we do wind sprints, crunches, push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, streach cords, etc. then the last day of the week that we do cardio/other we run 2-4 miles, then once a month we take

on a 50 fly i breath every 5 strokes and on a 100 i breath 3,4 for the first 50 then 2,3 on the second...if that helps at all...

training. : ) under, under, under, overs help too. it's a 100 you go under water for a 75 (you breath once per wall) then freestyle sprint the last 25 w/ no breath... we'll do like 10 and you're dead afterwards..but it helps.

Yeah, I'm 16, 5'4-5'5 and weigh ~120. i'm thin except i have huge theighs and sholders.. i can never find clothing that fits right, but i really don't care..swimming's worth it! : )
